So I analyzed over 20 topical creams marketed as fat-burning, anti-cellulite, workout enhancers, slimming, and sweat creams, and share the info I dug up on the most popular products.
In this review I’ll feature the 5 products that currently have the highest buyers’ ratings & owner satisfaction scores.
We’ll look at their ingredients and what they’re supposed to do — whether it’s to burn belly fat, smooth & tighten dimply cellulite skin, or increase your workout sweat.
And we’ll hear what the manufacturers & the buyers have to say about each of these products too.
Finally, I’ll also list some of the other fat burning cream products whose buyer ratings weren’t quite good enough to get them onto my Top 5 list – just so you’re aware of who they are.

This is the lowest-rated product of the big sellers in the fat burning cream category.
What the manufacturer says:
* It “uses natural ingredients such as mango and ginger extract as well as centella”.
* Says its a cellulite removal cream too, perhaps due to the centella. (see below)
* Says it will help you lose weight.

Ingredients are not supplied by the manufacturer — never a good sign — with no website or provided way to contact.
No gold star from me for that one.
The product photos supplied to Amazon –the only place they sell this — don’t show the ingredients list like most health products…they lose a point for that one too.
The ingredients they do provide are mango, ginger, & centella* – presumably as extracts.
* centella – also known as Gotu Kola, it has a long history of use in Chinese & Indian herbal medicine, where its been used to repair skin among other things. (8)

Fat burning creams are not effective at what they claim they can do: burning fat. Most of these products form a barrier on your skin which causes you to sweat, & thus lose water weight temporarily.

What is the best fat burning substance?
No product has proven in legitimate medical research to burn fat for everyone who takes it. A few supplements have helped weight loss in some people: caffeine, 5-HTP, protein powder, & synephrine.
Do slimming creams really work?
Many fat-burning creams work as far as making you sweat goes, because you sweating will cause a temporary loss of water weight. (12)
Slimming creams do not get rid of belly fat however. Our bodies simply don’t work that way.
