When presenters of a Place in the Sun aren't gallivanting around some of the most stunning properties in the Mediterranean, they are spending time in their own homes dotted across the UK.

From Jasmine Harman who has an entirely vegan home, to Danni Menzies and Jean Johansson, The Mirror takes a peek inside the homes of these Channel 4 stars and where they unwind after filming.

Up until 2021, Harman lived in in Carshalton, London with her husband Jon and their two kids. The presenter revealed she had transformed her living room into a completely vegan space with the help of interior designers at My Bespoke Room. The room boasts navy blue walls painted with cruelty-free paint from Farrow & Ball and a cream button-back sofa.

The makeover meant no feather-filled cushions, bee's wax furniture or any wool items for the space. Harman chose a synthetic carpet and used memory foam cushions. Harman who is a big supporter of "Veganuary" and often shares Vegan recipes also shared a sneak peak of where she cooks up her magic.

She has pale kitchen cupboards up top and dark grey lower cabinets, with the same warm oak floorboards running through the rest of her house. In another room the presenter has stylish wooden flooring in her living room with a drift-wood coloured, distressed cabinet built into the wall. A sneak peek into Jasmine's home was shown through an Instagram Stories video, revealing a second living area, presumably for her kids Joy and Albion.

In a room which appears to be dedicated to the children, Jasmine has a lime green sofa, nature-themed wallpaper, and stylish wooden flooring. The space has plenty of toys such as a drum kit and play mat and there are bright paintings on the wall.

The lounge features a green velour chair adorned with a leaf-patterned throw, an array of plants, a vintage trunk, and a framed photo of Harman's late dog, Shadow, who passed away in 2014. Keen observers might notice a rainbow drawing displayed in the window, a tribute to the NHS, possibly crafted by one of her kids during the pandemic.

Harman grew tired of London and after years of touring sunny properties aboard she decided to jump across channel too. Announcing their new home on Instagram in October 2023, Jasmine said: "Life has many ups and downs. Sometimes the hardest things to do, bring the greatest rewards. Moving country has been stressful and intense and at times, overwhelming. But now we're here and we plan to make the most of it."

She confessed that after "almost 20 years of helping others move overseas", she finally decided to embark on the journey herself. The star expressed that relocating to Spain presents a significant opportunity for her family, promising a "much better balance" between work and personal life.

The duo revealed that they have hosted friends and family, including Harman's ex-co-host Jonnie Irwin, who was sadly diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2020 and passed away in February 2024.

In his last years Irwin was hard at work refurbishing his London home where he lived with his wife and three kids. The star posted a series of before-and-after photos on Instagram in December 2020, showcasing the stunning transformation of their modern kitchen.

Jean Johansson, who lives with her husband Jonatan Johansson and their son Junior in a quaint village near Glasgow, spoke to First Time Buyer about their beautiful home. She said: "The house is stunning and our son is very happy here and goes to the local school. It is also near the coast which is great too."

Jean's boudoir boasts a metallic baroque print wallpaper and a matching gold bedframe adorned with plush velvet cushions.

Over the festive period, Jean gave fans a peek into her grand hallway, featuring a winding wooden staircase she had festooned with a garland, and high ceilings accentuated by wooden panelling.

Meanwhile, Scarlette Douglas frequently shares snippets of her stunning home on social media. Her lounge is tastefully decorated with pristine white walls and wooden flooring, while a geometric-print rug, cushions, and a unique egg-shaped armchair add a touch of personality.
